Answer

A homogeneous mixture is made by dissolving 13 grams of calcium nitrite to 1000 grams of water.

This is an example of SOLUTION.

In this mixture calcium nitrite is SOLUTE and water is SOLVENT.

REMEMBER: Solution is a homogeneous mixture which contains two or more components are called solute and solvent.

NOTE: A Solvent is that component of solution which has greater mass , like here water has greater mass hence it is Solvent in this solution.

And a solute is the component which has the lesser weight , like calcium nitrite here.
