Solution:-

since we know that by dilution law

N1V1 = N2V 2

it is given that

N2 = 3.00 M

V2 = ???

V1 =0.300 L

N1 = 1.25M

V2 = N1V1 / N2

V2 = 1.25 * 0.300 / 3.00

V2 = 0.125 L or 125 mL
