Answer #1

Answer:Its exon which is responsible for knowing the evolutionary relationship.

Explanation: As we know that the introns are non coading sequences(do not code for the specific protein ) and exons are the coding sequences(code for protein).Central Dogma of Molecular Biology says :

DNA---- RNA---- Protein

Formation of DNA to RNA is transcription and from RNA to Protein is called as Transcription. So for all characteristic of an organism thay have to follow the process of transcription and translation. If we like to know the evolutionary relationship so we must have to see the similar characteristics among the comparing organism. The organism which look similar or had similar characteristics they have similar DNA which is the key to determine evolutionary relationship.

For eolutionary relation we must follow the path as:

DNA---- Gene------ Protein------- Characteristics(apperance)

For formation of protein only coding sequences(exons) are used after splicing so we can say that it is generally exon which is used to show the relationship among the closely related protein.
