T-cell receptors are part of the -

It is the part of the immunoglobulin superfamily having extracellular domains. Also it is similar to half-antibody consisting of single heavy and single light chain.

The signalling motifs involved in TCR are tyrosin residue in tge cytoplasmic tail of the adaptor proteins and is referr to as the immunoreceptor tyrosin - based activation motif (ITAM).

TCR initiate signalling cascade involving transcription factor activation and cytoskeletal remodeling.
