a) Answer- Based on the cluster A sequencing, the colours represent the nucleotides in the following manner-

The sequence of cluster A as marked in circle is AGCTG and by comparing this sequence with diagram of consecutive cycles of NGS sequencing colours represents nucleotides in following manner-

Blue- C

Yellow- A

Pink- T

Orange- G

b) Answer- By the sequence of A cluster, specific colour for each nucleotide is determined, and in the basis of these colours sequence of cluster B is-

Blue=C, Yellow =A, pink=T and orange =G.

The sequence of colours in diagram is- yellow- yellow-orange- blue-orange

So the sequence of nucleotides in B cluster marked in square is-AAGCG
