Insulin Injectors are used in the trestment of Diabetes when the patient requires to take insulin from outside in case of uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus .Earlier synringes were used to inject the readymade insulin but it was difficult to handle and self administer and required special expertise which lacked in normal patients who were required to take it daily .

As a result new injector system was developed . These injectors look just like pen like devices which have 4 parts -- the thin needle , the cartridge ,the adjusting dial and the external body.These are placed at an angle of 90 degree to the screen , the dial is used to adjust the unit of dose at the particular intake and then the button is pushed and so the insulin seeps into the systemic curculcircu this way.We have 2 kind of injectables currently in the market -one with reusable cartridge and other one time use injectors .They have made it feasible for the diabetic population to take insulin .
