If you have an F1 generation that is heterozygous for the tall/dwarf allele, cross them to produce an F2 generation. Draw a Punnett Square for that cross here.

a. In the F2 generation, what is the probability that the first 3 pea plants you grow will all be tall? You must show your work.

b. In the same F2 population, find the probability that 5 out of 7 plants will be tall. Use the bionomial expansion equation. This procedure is explained in Chapter 2 of your text and is explained in the third lecture of this week’s module. You must show your work including how you set up the equation.
