Answer-

According to the given question-

Autosomal recessive is the trait that are present in autosomes and are recessive in nature which means that they are not appers in every generations but they passed from generations to generations and appear as a phenotype or traits in a particular generation. while the  autosomal recessive disorder can be observed when the presence of two copies of any abnormal gene for the development of trait or disease.

According to the question the frequency of recessive allele changes from 0.0001 to 0.01 which means that the frequency for a particular disorder such as albinism and phenylketonuria are increases this is due to a simple reason of non random mating between the population causing this

So the correct answer for the question is (B) Non random mating is occuring which are responsible for changing the frequency from 0.00001 to 0.01.

Use the following information to answer the next question. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is one of the most common autosomal recessive disorders that decreases life expectancy in the Caucasian population. Population studies estimate that 1 in 2500 Caucasian newborns are affected with CF. The disease is highly variable, though most commonly, an individual with CF develops a chronic cough with mucous buildup in the respiratory tract, obstruction in the intestinal tact, and/or hyposecretion of pancreatic enzymes. - based on Cutting, 1997...

Random mating 4. No net mutations 5. Which of the following statements regarding the Hardy-Weinberg Equation is TRUE? Answers: It can only be used when allele and genotype frequencies remain constant across generations in a population It can only be used when allele and genotype frequencies change across generations in a population It has no assumptions It mathematically shows how recessive alleles in a population decrease over time It reveals when allele frequencies change over time in a population Assuming Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium, what percentage of individuals in...

Use the following information to answer the next two questions. Sickle cell anemia is a disease that is caused by a mutation in the gene that produces haemoglobin. Hemoglobin carries oxygen in red blood cells. The HbA allele produces normal hemoglobin and the HbS allele produces haemoglobin that sticks together and causes red blood cells to sickle. Heterozygous individuals (HbAHbS) produce both normal and "sickle" hemoglobin so the HbA and HbS alleles are codominant. Heterozygotes do not develop sickle cell...
