How would the forces of nature and nurture combine with epigenetic influences to induce change in a species?
What types of changes would be necessary for our species to survive?
1. Epigenetics is the changes in the phenotype of an individual that are heritable and do not affects the DNA sequence. So, epigenetics is basically changing in phenotype without the change in the genotype of an organism.
Nature means what is already in your genes which is biological and nurture means the influence from the environment where and how you were being raised.
Epigenetics is influenced by our nature and nurture and eventually results in the alternation of the gene.
Changes in the gene for over several generations leads to change in species.
2. Adaptation to the environment and evolution is necessary for a species to survive.

There has long been debate about the importance of “nature vs. nurture”. Is how we turn out (successful or not, fit or not, addicted or not) determined entirely by our genes (genetic determinism) or is our environment more important (the nurture part of nature vs. nurture)? How does our genetic make-up interact with our environment? (In your answer you should include a discussion of epigenetics and how it is at the intersection of “nature vs. nurture”). This is NOT an...
Discussion # 1- Nature vs. Nurture The biggest debate in psychology, seemingly, is the one about the origin of what makes us who we are. This debate is simply referred to as the 'Nature vs. Nurture' debate. The side of nature is what we are studying in this course, the biological influences and genetics that we come into this world with (what mom and dad gave us). The nuture side of things is simply the experiences we have in life,...

There are four known fundamental forces of nature. They are called fundamental because our theories cannot simplify them further. It is believed that all the forces are really the same, but they manifest differently at the low energy density our universe currently has. At the origin of the universe, when it was the size of the Planck scale, the forces were unified. Build a table with the following information for each force: if gravity is equal to 1, the relative...
