i need help generating a hypothesis for how species composition along the edges of a forest...
I need to formulate an evolutionary hypothesis that can be tested, along with an experimental plan of how to go about it over around a 3 year timeframe. It has to be a little specific (narrow it down to a focused aspect of ONE species or comparing a FEW species). You don't need to provide a complete plan, but the more detailed the better... any ideas are appreciated! I mainly need help with the hypothesis part (along with some papers...
what is a good hypothesis to why species are in a certain locstion
compared to another at a local scale such as within one forest
using the criteria in the photo
the
picture i sent is an example by the way
like i need a hypthesis for why plant species in a forest occur
only in specific location in a forest
for example white ash trees occur only near the middle of a
forest

TRACTOR SKIDDING HYPOTHESIS TESTING Forest engineers are interested in studying the skidding distances of tractors along a new road in a European Forest. The engineers collect data on a random sample of 12 tractors. The collected data (in meters) are: 350, 285, 574, 439, 295, 184, 261, 273, 400, 311, 141, 425. The average skidding distance for the sample of 12 tractors is 328.17 and the standard deviation is 118.46. Local loggers working on the road believe that the mean...

please help is it B or C?
INTACT FOREST (NEVER LOGGED) The figure above shows a large forested area that is divided into two sections of equal area. One section was never logged, but the other section has been logged, resulting in 4 forest patches (labeled A-D). Green indicates forest patches and white indicates areas of logging. A small road is cut between the two forests. How will the species richness of forest-dependent species change in the logged patch before...
NEED HELP BY TONIGHT PLEASE!!!
Please help me, I am deeply confused in this class and
trying so hard to understand. Please give detailed answers. I know
some of these might be confusing but your help will really help me
learn. The teacher requires very very detailed answers and he gives
nearly no (and I mean literally nearly zero) partial credit so I'm
dying here. Thank you sooooooo much, you have no idea.
Also, I am nearly leaglly blind and...
some help me in questions 7-9. the table about the forest
island (first page) is already answered.
the
first page witb the table about Forest Island contain information
that helps to answer the question 7.
Island Blogeography Theory can be applied to other types of patchy environment. The following data comes from a study of montane forests in the western U.S. Montane forests exist on mountains and can be isolated from one another by lower elevations, creating "forest Islands." Species...
I need the step by step solution on how to solve this
problem. I need the answer Asap. your help is greatly appreciated.
thank you. Problem 5
