A) Interphase, S phase:

Where the cell prepares itself for division by copying its genetic material (DNA). And this is the longest phase of the cell where it spends most of its time preparing for division.  

B) Prophase:

First phase of mitosis where the chromatin is condensed which marks the cell for the prepration of cell division. Here the cell is preparing for cell division.

C) Metaphase:

The second phase of mitosis where the chromatin is more condensed and they are found in the centre of the cell. The word meta means adjcent which means the cell is having chromatin in the centre of the cell.

D) Anaphase:

The second phase of mitosis where the centrally arranged chromosomes are splitted using chromatin fibers to two different poles. This seperated chromosomes are newely divided into two new cells.
