Before medical investigation reports-

1I would prefer to as about their relationship ,is there was any arguments recently

2. Did she share anything about any arguments or stress with collegues or neighbours or anything important.

Initial hypothesis could be-

1 death due to suicide

2) dead due to major organ failure

3) murder by someone closeby

After medical investigation reports-

Death could be due to inflammatory response which cause excessive damage to mitochondria and leads to complete breakdown of respiration process due to loss of krebs cycle and electron transport complex.

Conflicting piece of information is that she is sensitive against bee sting that could cause inflammatory response but there was no sign of biting bees on her body.

This means that there could be presence of aspergillus or bee on cupcake which produces toxin and that leads to inflammatory response and leads to asphyxiation and finally death of Meleea.
