Let allele for red eye X' and allele for purple eye X

Genotype of father is X'Y = red eye

Genotype of mother XX = Purple eye

Possible Genotype of daughter X'X = red eye

Possible genotype of son XY = purple eye

Here, on crossing Y chromosome of father and X chromosome of mother always goes to son . Hence, all son will have purple eye.

On crossing X' chromosome of father and X chromosome of mother always go to daughter. Hence, all daughter will have red eye.

This show that it is not X linked recessive case.

But it is X linked dominant case.
