Describe the ‘theory” of Spontaneous Generation and how Francesco Redi and Louis Pasteur disproved the theory, using the process of scientific method.

According to spontaneous generation theory , living organisms originated from non living matter. According to this theory living organisms could be originated with out need of previous living organisms. Example- maggots could be arise from dead meat or fish, similarly fleas from dust etc.

This shows no life can be seen in broth after sterlization if it is kept protected from exposure of the microbes. Means microbes are required for growth in the broth.
