Describe the ‘theory” of Spontaneous Generation and how Francesco Redi and Louis Pasteur disproved the theory, using the process of scientific method.
According to spontaneous generation theory , living organisms originated from non living matter. According to this theory living organisms could be originated with out need of previous living organisms. Example- maggots could be arise from dead meat or fish, similarly fleas from dust etc.
scientist named Redi and Louis pasteur disapprove this theory by performing their experiments
Both experiment are explained in attached image below.
This shows no life can be seen in broth after sterlization if it is kept protected from exposure of the microbes. Means microbes are required for growth in the broth.

Describe the ‘theory” of abiogenesis and how Francesco Redi and Louis Pasteur disproved the theory, using the process of the scientific method. Describes spontaneous Generation Explains Scientific Method Describes Francesco Redi’s experiment Describes Louis Pasteur’s experiment
eek 1 Practice Quiz Saved Which of the following are true regarding spontaneous generation? Check all that apply. Check All That Apply 4 It was definitively disproven by Francesco Redi, Louis Pasteur designed an experiment with swan-necked flasks that disproved this theory once and for all. This theory was based on idea of abiogenesis. The meat maggot experiment indicated that the concept of abiogenesis was likely true.
Compare spontaneous generation and biogenesis. What were the contributions of Needham, Spallanzani, Virchow, and Pasteur
How are science and technology related? It took hundreds of years of discussion and the experiments of Louis Pasteur in the nineteenth century for the larger scientific community to accept that spontaneous generation of life was not a valid scientific concept. Referring to the diagram, describe how modern methods of communication have changed the scientific process. Use lesson concepts to complete the diagram to show the outcome of communication among scientists. Why are "New Ideas" placed at the center of...

Know these!!!: 3 domains of life • How spontaneous generation was refuted (and the process of science for that) Other concepts to know: • Cell theory (what it says, what evidence supports it) Relative sizes (what can interact with what?) Very basic overview of types of microbes Common features of all cells

Describe the theory using a resource found online (include citation). Identify how the theory relates to your beliefs about human nature and the nursing role. Provide an example of a patient need and how your selected theory would address that need. What is your theory of nursing?
