wearable tech are the innovative solutions for the health care sector. There are so many wearable tech that are developed for disease prevention and maintenance of health. Wearable technology can directly impact the clinical decision making for the physician and patient. Wearable technology had made a challenge and opportunity for the researchers as they can create more artificial intelligence on the data in future. There are some issues like acceptance, security, ethics and data concern that arise with this tech and still need to be addressed to enhance the function for the practical use.

2)

wearable tech can improve the quality of patient care, it can reduce the cost of care like rehabilitations cost as it is outside the hospital. It can encourage proactive health care. Various consumer focused technology can perform various functions like biosensor can monitor heart rate and there are sensors for diabetes patients to detect glucose levels. Electronic smart hearing aid is a new technology that has been a raised. This tech can provide benefits to health care providers to monitor patient data for long periods of time.

3)

By the use of wearable technology the people will become much more engaged with their own health. As they get all the data and information time to time they are able to stay informed about their health conditions. For example fitness tracker can monitor heart rate, sleep quality etc. It will be informed if things get irregular. This will monitor the patient to improve their exercise, sleep, diet to be taken etc.

4)

Some wearables like fitbit are in alliance with 911, so if a person wearing it suffers a heart attack, the device will detect it and place a call with 911 for emergency healthcare service. This is an excellent use of technology to save a life. This is especially helpful when people suffer from cardiovascular disease and they are highly vulnerable to attacks.

5)

Wearing these devices can also help in obtaining a healthy placebo effect, wherein the person wearing it achieves pre-set goals of walking or running and eventually feels healthy for completing the goals. Keeping the mind motivated and healthy is also an important part of our life. It improves the quality of life due to a sense of achievement.

6)

The devices can definitely not replace a doctor, but it can help us in being cautious and aware of the fluctuations in our body. Events like low blood glucose and low blood pressure can be easily noticed and precautionary measures can be taken. Similarly, high glucose levels can alarm us and one can visit a doctor to change the line of therapy or understand any adverse event that could have possibly occurred.

7)

In conclusion, one can say that wearable technology in healthcare is definitely a boon and it needs to be used efficiently and wisely. Creating a balance between using them and taking professional medical guidance is necessary for healthy living. Striking this balance is easy for consumers and also beneficial to the doctors for the early detection of abnormalities in their patients.
