Answer #1

Photosystem :-
• Functional unit of light reaction of photosynthesis.
• Theae are the structures within the thylakoid membrane that harvest light and convert it to chemical energy.
• During photosynthesis, water gets oxidized to oxygen (O2) by photosystems and energy (ATP) produced by photosystems is used for reducing carbon dioxide to carbohydrates.
• There are two types of photosystems - Photosyatem 1st and photosyatem 2nd.
• In non- cyclic photophosphorylation, both photosyatems are involved and in cyclic photophosphorylation only photosyatem 1st is involved.
• Photosystems are involved only in light reaction of photosynthesis. The product of dark reaction (ATP) is involved in light reaction.

Now in question,
Option (D) is false statement about photosystem.
