DNA multiple sequence alignments are done for phylogenetic analysis.Multiple sequence alignment can be done using CLUSTAL W. A phylogram which is a type of phylogenetic tree whose branch length represent the amount of character change quantifies the base mismatch;more the length of the branch,more is the base mismatch.
