List and describe the structures an oxygen moleclue will pass through as it moves from the outside of the body(starting at the nose) and into the blood at the pulmonary capillaries.

Oxygen (O2) enters the lungs and then passes through the alveoli and then into the blood. Oxygen is carried in blood vessels around the body.

In the alveoli, the partial pressure of Oxygen is high and forms oxyhaemoglobin and in the tissues, the partial pressure of Oxygen is low and it will dissociate from haemoglobin.
