According to Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium:

p+2pq+q*= 1

p2  = frequency of homozygous dominant genotype i.e. of +/+ in our case

2pq = frequency of heterozygous genotype i.e. of +/- in our case

q2 = frequency of homozygous recessive genotype i.e. of -/- in our case

According to the question;

CATEGORY NUMBER GENOTYPE FREQUENCY
+/+ 4 4/57 = p2 = 0.07
+/- 12 12/57 = 2pq =0.21
-/- 41 41/57 = q2 = 0.72
4+12+41 = 57 0.07+ 0.21 + 0.72 = 1.0

To calculate allele frequency,

CATEGORY NUMBER ALLELE FREQUENCY
+ alleles 20(because 4*2 +12) 20/114 = 0.17
- alleles 94(because 41*2 + 12) 94/114 = 0.82
Total alleles = 114
