1926- established school of nursing

1927- school of health and emergencies

1951- established Ministry of Health

1980s- 253 hospitals and 1640 primary health centers

2002- saudi health system was established

2005- compulsory health insurance for non saudi nationals

2008- health insurance extended to saudi nationals workingin private sector.
