Answer: Option B is correct. Pathogen recognition receptors (PRR) are receptors which are predominantly present in the host immune cells and play a very crucial role in innate immunity. These receptors recognize pathogens by the presence of conserved molecular structures. These structures are known as pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMP) and very important for the viability of the pathogen so don't change over time. PAMPs are very specific for each pathogen, Toll-like receptors are pathogen recognition receptors. Bacterial flagellin, glycans are examples of PAMPs.

Other options are not correct because GUT associated lymphoid tissue is present in the intestine, it is part of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue which stores T & B cells which carry out the defense against pathogens. MHC are cell surface protein which plays an important role in the acquired immune response. They represent processed antigen peptide on the cell surface on the antigen-presenting cell for further processing. So they themselves don't recognize pathogens. Interferon receptors are the membrane receptors for interferons. Interferons are proteins released by the host cell in response to infection. Pathogen associated molecular patterns are pathogen motifs that are important and unique to each pathogen.
