The endomembrane system doesnot act as a control center of the cell

The endomembrane system consists of nuclear envelope, lysosome, ER, golgi apparatus, vacuoles and plasma membrane. The control center of the cell is the nucleus which is not a part of the endomembrane system.

The other functions are,

Manufacturing molecules, Prepares molecule to export-, assistabce in moving materials in cell, refining produced cell materials are function of organelles included in the endomembrane system
