Since the study is about the allelic frequencies and distributions in 1950 and is also based on current events ,this is the most suitable caption.

4. The new curve could stabilize in medium range for horn size.

The sexual selection will not select the ones with shorter horns , however the larger horns will also be unavailable due to poaching. So there would be a selection of medium ranged horns(incomplete dominance) as they will be both available and preferable in absence of large horns.
