Answer 23: The correct answer is the option 'A' i.e. change in allelic and genotype frequency of a population. Microevolution occurs because of the change in allelic frequency over time within a population. There are mainly four reasons for this change.

I) Mutation

ii) Natural selection

iii) Gene flowers

iv) Genetic drift.

Answer 41: The correct answer is option 'A' i.e. primase. Primase uses DNA (ssDNA) as template to synthesize short RNA (mainly) or DNA nucleotides (primer). Replicase is RNA dependent RNA polymerase which uses RNA as a template. Similarly telomerase and reverse transcriptase use RNA as template.

Answer 48: The Correct option is 'B' i.e. different RNA Splicing, presence of different miRNAs and presence/absence of telomerase activity. Nerve cell is terminally differentiated and dont divide further so telomerase is absent but liver cell has the power of differentiation , so it will have telomerase. But the chromatin structure and genes are same in all the cells as all are originated from same cell.
