In eukaryotes when protein needs to be transported out of the cell it follows this particular path:

1.Ribosomes are the sites where the mRNA containg information for amino acid sequences are converted into proteins

2. If the particular protein needs to be transported outside cell , it is synthesised in the rogh endoplasmic reticulum (RER)

3. Thereafter the protein is carried by vesicle1

4.vesicle1 transports it to the cis face of the Golgi apparatus, modification of protein occurs in gogi.

5. Later, protein moves to the trans face of the Golgi.

6. vesicle2 takes up the protein from the trans face and moves further in the cell and

7. targets the plasma membrane, vesicle 2 fuses with the plasma membrane and finally the protein is ejected outside of the cell.
