Heterozygosity refers to the presence of two different allele ( example Aa ) at one or more loci . And genetic drift refers to change or variation within a small population due to change in the relative frequency of the anotomical structures which causes disappearance of particular genes. So it affects small population . So it has got the ability to reduce the heterozygous allele in a small population . So heterozygosity can be used to measure the strength of drift. When the genetic drift is more heterozygosity is less . When the genetic drift is absent the heterozygosity is more .
