Answer #1

Purpose of cell division in prokaryotes :

Prokaryotes like bacteria propagate by binary fission. For unicellular organisms cell division is the only method to produce new individual .

In eukaryotes : cel division in eukaryotes is necessary for development , growth and repair of the organisms. Eukaryotic cell division ensure that each resulting daughter cell receives a complete copy of the organisms's entire genome.

Non reproductive cell in eukaryotes are known as somatic cells. Reproductive cell are germ cells.

The two main stages are the interphase ( sub phase are G1 phase, S phase and G2 phase) and mitotic phase( prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase).

S Phase is responsible for the replication of DNA

Dear student, as per the rules and time constraints I am allowed to answer only 2-3 question.
