2. The principle role of Hb is to deliver oxygen to working tissues.

Zymogen is the set of proteins which is also referred as inactive enzyme. In the appropriate conditions, zymogen gets activated as the enzymes. The purpose for which the cells release these inactive enzymes is to avoid the unnecessary destroying of cellular proteins. Zymogens can be stored & moved in a safe way by not harming the nearby tissues. They are activated through cleavage of the covalent bonds. For instance: digestive enzymes are released as zymogens, because it continues to be inactive in the cells. These forms are necessary for protecting the proteins within the cells from damage.
