Great Oxygenation of the Precambrian :
Before getting towards the answer let me explain you what is actually Precambrian:
It is also known as the earliest part or the period of the earth history. As its name suggest 'PRE' - 'CAMBRIAN' means it was the era before the CAMBRIAN i.e. the period of the Phanerozoic eon.
Now coming back to the topic
The Great Oxygenation was the event when free oxygen particles were released into the atmosphere. This event occur due to respiration process of Cyanobacteria as we all know that Cyanobacteria undergoes Photosynthesis and releases Oxygen as a waste product.
This whole Apocalypse occurred approx 2.5 billion years ago when earth neither have any plant that undergoes aerobic Respiration nor the animals. It is believed that back at that time earth wasn't the same as it is now.Initially due to the limited amount of Cyanobacteria , oxygen that was produced by them formed the bond with iron but lately when there number increased iron could not cop up with the amount that was being produced!
This whole event resulted in the abundance of the oxygen level in the atmosphere. Some particles started reacting with methane to form carbon dioxide. As we all know that Methane is more potential Green house effecting gas i.e. It keeps the earth warmer, therefore when it started to combine with Oxygen it resulted in lowering the temperature of earth hence the earth climate changed into period of global ice.

Question 186 (1 point) There is an annual rise and fall in atmospheric CO2 concentration. What is the primary reason for this? Seasonal cycle in contrail formation by jet airplanes Plant growth during the northern hemisphere summer removes atmospheric CO2 for photosynthesis, enough to cause a global reduction Fossil fuel usage increases in winter months Plant growth during the southern hemisphere summer removes atmospheric CO2 for photosynthesis, enough to cause a global reduction Question 187 (1 point) Coring can create...
#1 (1) Determine the underlying cause of the resulting "customer experience" (e.g., great salesperson, poor organization, bad training, or bad attitude). (2) Identify "sales techniques, strategies and tactics" used (or those which should have been used) and recount examples in the write-up. (3) Make specific recommendations how the salesperson could have made his/her sales presentation better for the benefit of the customer (e.g., you), and how the firm-company-organization can improve its "sales training" to enhance or improve the customer experience....
8. How do we know what Earth's temperature was many years before thermometers existed? From laboratory experiments that reconstruct the conditions (the atmosphere and sea level, primarily) of earlier times and then measure the resulting temperature. From computer calculations that work backward from the present time to calculate the temperature at earlier times. From computer calculations that start from the conditions (the atmosphere and sea level, primarily) of earlier times and then calculate the resulting temperature. From historical information about...
