1. Negative growth in a population means there is more no of post reproductive age group than the reproductive and pre-reproductive ones . That leads to decreased population growth hence negative. Positive growth in a population means there are more reproductive and pre-reproductive age group than the post reproductive ones. That leads to expansion of population.

2. A stable population signifies to a population containing equal no of pre and post reproductive age groups which maintains a balance in the population. Most developed countries come under this.

3.Limiting factors are the ones that decide the growth of a population and eventually is responsible for lowering the population. The carrying capacity(maximum no of population supported by a particular environment) is dependent upon the limiting factor and fluctuate according to it.
