Will use the Conventional vaccinology approach. Beacuse of the high antigenic variability of the corona virus. Antigenic variability enables the pathogen to avoid the immune responses in the host. Also allows re-infection of previously infected host. Antigenic variation can also result in gene conversion,DNA inversion and hyper mutation.

So in conventional vaccinology approach the whole cell get vaccine with attenuated (Attenuated is a vaccine created by reducing the virulence of a pathogen but still keeping it viable. Attenuation takes an infectious agent and alter it so that it becomes harmless or less virulent). Or by the subunit. Subunits or protein subunits contain fragment of the microorganism that can make a immune response against the pathogen.
