Answer #1

1.Glycolysis in gram - negative Bacteria :-   Cytoplasm

Reason : Glycolysis occur s in the cytoplasm and makes a few ATP and NADH

2. Glycolysis in Human cell - Cytoplasm

Reason :- Glucolysis takes place in the cytoplasm.

3. Citric acid cycle in gram negative bacterium - Cytoplasm

Reason:- Citric acid cycle happens in the mitochondria of euraryotic cells, but bacteria don't have mitochondria , so we're still in the cytoplasm.

4.Citric acid cycle in Human cel - Matrix

Reason ;- The citric acid cycle takes place in the matrix of the mitochondria.

5.Electron transport in a human cell :- Inner Membrane

Reason :- Electron transport in human cells occurs in the inner membrane of mitochondria.

6,Electron transport in gram negative bacterium :- Outer membrane

Reason ;- Electron transport in gram negative bacterium occurs in outer cytoplasmic membrane.

7.Oxidative phosphorylation in a human cell :- Inner membrane

Reason :- Oxidative phosphorylation takes place in the inner mitochondrial membrane.

8.Oxidative phosphorylation in gram negative bacterium :- Inner membrane

Reason :- .Oxidative phosphorylation in gram negative bacterium occurs inner cytoplasmic membrane.

    14. The molecule 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP) is an uncoupling agent that breaks down the concentration gradient of protons formed during oxidative phosphorylation. DNP shuttling protons across the cell membrane, equalizing the concentration of protons on either side of the membrane. Which of the following will be true for a bacterium poisoned with DNP? a.
