ACTH means Adrenocorticptropic Harmone which stimulates the adrenal cortex. It stimulates the secretion of steroid harmone cartisol. It has capacity to have little control over aldosterone secretion. ACTH is produced in pituitary gland.

3. CRH - Carticotropin

It is secreted by paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus in response to stress.
