Answer #1

15) Option A: Geological processes in the past and present are the same.

Charles Darwin is responsible for giving the theory of evolution and natural selection. The main idea behind Darwin's theory is descent with modification which explains that variations are heritable and natural selection and survival of the fittest is responsible for selection of favorable traits over other non-favorable ones. The observation that Geological processes in the past and present are the same is credited to Charles Lyell, a scottish geologist in his book, "Principles of Geology" in which he presented the idea that Earth was shaped by the same natural processes still in operation today, operating at similar intensities, i.e., the geological processes are same in the past and present.

16) Option D: All of the above.

tRNA contains complimentary triplet codon to mRNA. It attracts the specific amino acid associated with that triplet codon and brings it to the complementary strand of mRNA on the ribosome where it facilitates the association of amino acids via peptide bond to create the polypeptide chain.
