Answer #1

DNA polymerase is involved in firing DNA replication. In prokaryotes there are 3 types of DNA polymerase are present with each different functions and activity.

DNA POLYMERASE III is main enzyme involve in replication, it has 3' - 5' exonuclease activity. This removes bases from 3' end of newly synthsized DNA stand and act as inital or first line defense in generic stability.

DNA polymerase I, this polymerase has unique 5' - 3' exonuclease activity. This enzyme is involved in removal of primers from okazaki fragment in 5' - 3' direction. Thus spced is also filled by DNA polymerase I.
