The early maritime travel and trade took place by atmospheric circulation and for that they have used sails which used atmospheric winds and to use this technology, the Austronesians were amongta the first group of people who developdd this technology and they have designed various types of boats and primitive ships like outrigger ships and catamaran and even they were the first who developed the crab claw sails and Tanja sails and with the help of these technology they have travelled to various parts of the world and were the first group who were seen in various continents. They travelled to various parts of the Pacific ocean to Madagascar and also to some parts of the Indian ocean.
