Answer #1

Let’s take the example of a classroom scenario to understand the two different types of feedback mechanisms:

SPOT FEEDBACK
A teacher asks a student about the answer to the question that is on the board. The student does not answer the question accurately or responds in a way that cannot be considered optimum. The teacher, therefore, makes use of gestures, controlled voice modulation, and corrects the students, providing them the necessary feedback on where they were wrong and how the optimum outlook can be achieved.

DELAYED FEEDBACK
A teacher monitors the student during a group assignment but does not correct them every time he spots them making a mistake. He notes down everything in his notebook and waits until the end of the process to create the necessary feedback process for the students. Providing them ample feedback in what went wrong, where they could have achieved a better result, etc.
