AHA moment in Economics. What was the most significant or interesting thing in learning about Economics? What does stand out in Economics?

The most simple yet, fundamental and interesting thing while learning economics is why we make certain purchasing choices as a consumer.
The rudimentary concepts of demand and supply, scarcity, cost-benefit & incentives stand out while we try to learn about consumer behavior. While, the scheme that stands out holding all these concepts together is what we know as opportunity cost - the loss from potential gains from other choises, when we choose an alternative.
