Answer #1

Right answer is:

*The inheritance of allele of one gene does not affect the inheritance of allele of another gene. This occurs because of independent assortment.

*Only one allele determines the phenotype in heterozygous individual.

The presence of Tt in heterozygous provides tall phenotype. Here T allele determines the phenotype.

Why other statement wrong:

*The pair of alleles for each gene so not stay together during gamete formation.

The staying of alleles together violates the law of segregation.

*For a given trait, two heterozygous parents produce offsprinh with two possible genotype.

Parents: Tt × Tt

Punnet square:

Gametes T t
T TT (tall) Tt ( tall)
t Tt ( tall) tt ( dwarf)
