Answer #1

When my employees don't seem to be interested in working as a team. I would suggest the following:

1.Effective communication: I would speak to my employees and tell them their individual roles which is essential for the running of the organisation.I would also tell them to raise their concerns if any with regard to their contribution to the organisation.

2.Efficiency in delegation: After speaking to the employees and getting to know their concerns if any, if in any case, they wanted to change their role since they have been working under the role for a long time i would get to know their strengths and weaknesses and allocate them to a different job according to their abilities. This will ensure that the employees perform their duties with job satisfaction since it is the one desired by them.

3.Targets & Incentives: Set targets and provide small incentives for employees who outperform their targets within the time frame.Providing for small incentives will motivate them and help them to perform their tasks since it will be focused on a target which is set for the individual.

The factors that hinder cooperation are as follows:

1.Lack of interest in the job or lack of required skill for doing the job. This may hinder their performance as an individual and in turn effect the performance of the team.

2.Lack of resources like there may be shortage of staff due to which the existing employees maybe be asked to work extra working hours and because of it they may not be as effective in doing their work.

3.Lack of motivation even for employees who do their jobs with dedication and sincerity.
