49.Ethnocentric approach:

   Ethno centric approach means recruiting people from home country (parent companies country) to work in the host country.In this case the existing employees who are already working in home country and interested to live in host country is being selected.


50.Polycentric staffing:

In polycentric approach we hire the locals of host country to work in the subsidiary established by the parent company .The major operations are handled by the expertise of host country who have vast knowledge.

   Geocentric approach is an approach where recruitment  is done by hiring the best people to fill our positions without any consideration of where they live or where they come from.We will recruit employees either by relocating the present employees or hiring remote employees .

4.In case of diversification or launch of new product expatriate management  will act  as an expertise with experience rahter than like local national management. 

                 Firms screening process consider many characteristics for choosing the best employee for expatriate management .The firms screening process considers knowledge ,skills ,independence, communication skills ,adoption to new working environment etc for selecting best employee .The screening process will be done of the existing employees who meet the requirement i.e.,Technical skills ,etc.The best employee selected is trained.
