Hurricane Harvey Category 4 storm that was mainly centered at Texas on 25th August 2017. This is Tom cost more than 125 billion dollars in a damage according to the national Hurricane center of America. This was one of the most expensive natural disasters that America faced in recent times. It was the second most expensive natural disaster for America after the hurricane Katrina. More than 125 billion dollars were needed for Federal relief as well as it highly affected lives of 13 million people in Texas,Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky. This Storm took away 88 lives as per the record in its full rage.

Hurricane Harvey was extensively very big and damaged more than 204,000 homes in United States of America most of the owners does not had flood insurance which affected them very badly. There are more than 7000,000 people registering for assistance from Federal emergency management agency as the scope of the specific problem was humongous and availability of fund relief provided by the government was also arranged up to 400 million dollars. Many of the immediate emergency supplies were presented at the place as well as implementation and deployment of Federal forces was also done in the specific place of storm which required extensive efforts for rescuing the people trapped in their homes as well as at flooded Highways. Many of the water treatment facilities as well as basic facilities of Texas and surrounding parts are highly damaged and returning all of this place is to natural work structure took a long time which directly affected the overall effectiveness of specific care program and directly provided an idea of the security measures regarding any emergency situation.


Definitely This Storm created a requirement of reform in safety measures for United States of America has most of the safety requirements after Katrina was reinforced but failed in this specific natural disaster. Availability of opportunities regarding saving lives was effective as America was already prepared after Katerina for such a specific Storms but implementation of such a specific emergency management system was half to be reinforced as it failed drastically in some places which was later assessed as extreme damages.
Reforming emergency management plan was required as this is specific natural disaster directly provided an idea of the total capabilities of United States of America to fight for the specific kind of problems and to maintain better practices in Operation.
