This was one of the most expensive natural disasters that America faced in recent times. It was the second most expensive natural disaster for America after the hurricane Katrina. More than 125 billion dollars were needed for Federal relief as well as it highly affected lives of 13 million people in Texas,Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky. This Storm took away 88 lives as per the record in its full rage.

Hurricane Harvey was extensively very big and damaged more than 204,000 homes in United States of America most of the owners does not had flood insurance which affected them very badly. There are more than 7000,000 people registering for assistance from Federal emergency management agency as the scope of the specific problem was humongous and availability of fund relief provided by the government was also arranged up to 400 million dollars.
