What cyclic path does water follow in a plant to enable phloem transport? Is it moving by diffusion, bulk flow, or both?

Phloem is like an enigmaticcentral bank .Phloem transport carbohydrate , produced by photosynthesis and hydrolysis of reserve compound , to sink tissue for growth , respiration and storage . At photosynthetic tissue , carbohydrate are loaded into phloem that raises the solute concentration . The increased solute concentration than raises turgor pressure in the transport stream by drawing water from the xylem through osmosis . At growth and storage sinks , carbohydrate are actively unloaded or passively leak out of phloem , lowering the solute concentration . Warer then move back into the xylem from phloem lowering turgor , and the turgor pressure difference between the loading and unloading sites drives the mass flow of carbohydrate to the sink tissue .
