E) All of these make up the histone core.

Histone is an octamer ( consists of 8 units ) which is composed of two copies of each of H2A , H2B, H3 and H4. The nucleosome is wrapped into this histone octamer and an additional protein called histone 1 is used to clip the end so that it doesnot unwind.
