Exocytosis is the primary method of transporting large molecules out of the cells.

Exocytosis secretes materials from the cell through the fusion of a vesicle with the plasma membrane. example- newly made proteins inside cell are packed in vesicles, these vesicle fuse with plasma membrane and the proteins are released outside the cell.
