Depression; Serotonin
Prolonged periods of stress can cause depletion in the levels of serotonin levels of the individual. The society also plays an important role in the deficiency of serotonin in an individual and it is pertaining to the fast-paced life of nowadays that more and more people can be seen suffering from diseases like depression and anxiety. Just like the deficiency of dopamine causes Parkinson's disease, the deficiency of serotonin causes depression.
