Hydrophobic tail-it is the part of the phospholipid that is water repellent and allow only non polar molecules while hydrophilic head is that part of phospholipid which remains in contact with the aqueaos fluid from both sides inside or outside of the membrane.

Integral protein are embedded permanently in the plasma membrane and allow molecules to move across the membrane.

Peripheral protein-packed are temporarily attached to the cell membrane or to the integral protein.

Glycoprotein- present in the cell membrane act as a receptor for some other molecules.
