Answer #1

Available for Week 1 = Available (Week 0) - Max of (Forecast , orders) =20 - 10= 10

Availalbe for Week 2= Available Week 1 - Max of (Forecast. orders) = 10 -10 = 0

Since our Week 0 available quantity covers Week 1 and wee 2 , we will need to place first order in Week 2 to cover for Week 3 demand.

Available for Week 3= Available Week 2 + ORder received - Max of (Forecast , Orders) = 0 + 20 - 12 = 8
