What value do you see in studying the visual and performing arts? Provide examples.

Studying visual and performing arts is extremely valuable in the sense that it not only helps one become a more skilled artist, but it also exposes one to other types of art within the Visual and Performing Arts field. From my classes, I have come to appreciate the richness and depth of human expression through diverse art forms. In addition, I have also experienced personal growth through the constructive feedback that is constantly shared with me, that motivates me to work on my performance without feeling that I may not be good enough. Likewise, being surrounded with talented and creative people around me, I feel inspired and driven to work harder into developing my skills.
