A 20 kg dog has been diagnosed by the veterinarian to have dermatitis, and the veterinarian wants to dispense one drug to help treat the condition.  Therefore, calculate what should go home with the dog.   Lastly, explain what would be acceptable means of dispensing those drugs, and how.  Include labeling and safety issues.

 

Cheyenne Thomson's dog "FuFu" is a 20 kg poodle.  The veterinarian prescribed Cephalexin 500mg Caps at 22mg/kg PO TID for 10 days.
